Love an unhaul! And I feel like you were justified in your reasoning behind keeping the ones you were unsure about. You can always unhaul them in the next go round if you’re still unsure.
'I need this to be brutal.' *Proceeds to not be brutal.* This is such a book lover thing to do! I'm guilty of that too but lately I have been fairly harsh on my shelves and have gotten rid of quite a few books. Now I have quite a bit of space for new books.

I think you did great with your unhaul! What usually decides me keeping a book or not is if I'm ever going to re-read it once i've read it. More often the answer is no, so I pass it on.
It's good to know it'll have a chance to be read by someone else too!

Nice job! When I unhaul it warms my heart to know a book I’ll probably never pick up again will be rediscovered and loved by someone else. Especially old favorites that are probably abit juvenile for current tastes. I rediscovered my love of reading through little free libraries last year and never stopped! ❤
I love the vlog-style unhaul. I find them more enterteining than just sitting down and rattling down the books you're unhauling. Also, not a lot of things are more heartbreaking than a mid book with a stunning cover... I do whole-heartedly believe not unhauling those is absolutely justified.

For me I think there's a right time to get rid of a book, I buy books for various different reasons and memories and sometimes it just isn't quite the time to say good bye to certain collections.

Tip from me, you went through the book pretty quickly: go one by one with them and really think about them a bit. Takes longer of course, but does help imo.
Also, maybe do a Try a chapter for some you were unsure about? Or maybe ask and people can share their opinion in the comments

I unhauled 20 books over the weekend and donated them to the charity shop. I love doing it every now and then as it makes room for new ones, it's just the part between being empty and filling it up that devastates me lol
I think it always makes me buy more books quicker so I can fill the space again 😂
@@BooksNest oh yes I do the same. My boyfriend will look at my bookshelves and say there's room for more so goes out and buys me more 😂

I unhaul as I go and then put them in a bag and once I get enough then I take them to one of my used book stores.

The rules are not going to reread, dnf and feel I will never try again, forgot what is about and young people will enjoy it (my local queer place has library)
